Baby G #2...3rd Trimester Ultrasound

Today was a big day at the doctor's office. We had a routine third trimester ultrasound to measure growth and I had my glucose test. The glucose test wasn't too bad. I know a lot of people dread it but besides fasting from sugar until the test and then chugging the equivalent of an orange soda very quickly, I don't seem to have any side effects from it. I am not sure what that means. Maybe I process sugar efficiently. Anyway, I am so thankful I don't get sick.

The ultrasound was fun and successful. We love to see our little bun in the oven growing. Everything is right on track and most importantly, our baby girl is healthy. She was turned around so we couldn't get very many pictures but we do have one to share. She looks very similar to what Grady looked like at this age including her button nose that was squished against my rib. We are very curious to see what her hair and eye color will be and of course her personality. I can pretty much guarantee she will be an athletic spit fire. Mother's intuition. She measured 2.4lbs, which put her in the 40th percentile for growth, also similar to Grady. We didn't know until today that the doctor has us down for a July 30th due date and that is also what the ultrasound measured. Just a few days earlier than we thought. Luckily, we are almost as ready as we can be.
