Gretta had her 2 month checkup this week and all is well. She is much lighter in weight than Grady was at the same age (Thank Goodness!). Weighing in at 11 lbs 7oz she is in the 60th percentile for weight (Grady was already 14lbs 8oz) so she is a good 3lbs lighter, which is a lot at this young age. Gretta is 23 and 1/2 inches tall, which is the 80th percentile. She is actually still close to Grady in length as he was 23 and 3/4 inches. So we will probably have another string bean on our hands. Tim and I were both sticks growing up so we don't expect anything different from our kids.
Gretta's little personality is now showing through during her awake time, which is lasting much longer during the day and evening. She loves all the attention she can get. She makes great eye contact and even follows us around the room with her eyes. As soon as eye contact is made she starts smiling and she is pretty good at sitting in the Bumbo seat. If we talk to her she starts "cooing" back to us and our conversations with her usually last quite a few minutes. Oh and I almost forgot! She has curly/wavy hair! This definitely comes from Tim's side but we can't wait to see how it grows in. Here are a couple pictures of each munchkin. More to come this weekend!
