Phoenix Coyotes

Phoenix has a professional ice hockey team. The funny thing is ice hockey is very popular for people of all ages in the state. I guess I can understand wanting to be on cold ice when it is 115 degrees outside in the summer. A new ice area was just built last year near our home. We have been wanting to go to a Coyotes game for a while and finally this past weekend we did it!

The stadium is in Phoenix so it is a good drive from our house. We made sure Grady was all bundled up and Tim found some great tickets. We sat up high so it wouldn't be too scary for the little guy and part of the package was all you can eat hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, nachos and soda. Not too bad! Grady was only scared once by the loud horn, which I must say is louder and longer than necessary. Poor little guy. He got over it very quickly and loved watching the crowd and the action on the ice. He is becoming quite the traveler as we take him pretty much everywhere we go. Except on an occasional date night.
