Today we had Grady's 2 year well check. He is right on track developmentally and ahead with his verbal and motor skills. He weighs 31lbs and is 35 inches. That puts him right around the 75th percentile. The doctor was very impressed with his speech including words, colors, numbers and alphabet. I told him I talk to the kids all day long and he acknowledged that it is paying off, which was nice. He said kids learn the best and quickest being at home and if they have to go to daycare or a program to limit it to 1 or 2 mornings a week if possible. This was very reassuring advice because Grady is set to start a 2 year program in July. He will go two mornings a week for 2-3 hours at a time.
