Valentine's Weekend Part 1

Grady's First Swim Lesson

The weekend started with a Saturday morning Swim Lesson. Grady has been exposed to the water and to the pool since he was born, however we decided swim lessons would be a good way to start this swim season. We signed him up with his girl-friend, Cambry and it turned out to be a great thing. They helped each other realize swimming in a new pool is a lot of fun. There were 5 other kids in the class and everyone was very friendly.

The best part about the swim lesson is that Grady is in the water, which means he needs to stay in my arms. We started a music class about a month ago but he mostly runs around while everyone else, including me, sits in a circle. We call this "boy energy". It is amazing. I wish I could bottle it up and use it myself. We will definitely keep him in swim lessons for a while. At least another month or two until our pool stays warm enough to use on a daily basis. I must admit this is another reason I love Arizona. Outdoor swim lessons in February. The temperature is in the mid 70's and will hit 80 this week. The aquatic center is amazing with an 8 lane pool, diving pool, kiddie pool, slide system, and splash pad. We are so fortunate it is only 2 minutes from our house.

Saturday night we went out for our Valentine's dinner at one of our favorite spots, Chicago's Pizza.
