We set out this morning on a journey for our Santa picture. Grady is not fond of big hairy guys so we knew he would not be too happy about sitting on Santa's lap. First, Santa held Gretta. We thought it would show Grady he didn't need to be worried. This also gave us the opportunity to get her first Santa picture by herself. She is a little ham so it was not a problem. We tried to get Grady to sit on Santa's lap but his death grip just tightened. So we all joined in the picture. Tim and I were not expecting to be in the shot and were definitely not dressed for the occasion. As we were about to call it a day, Grady seemed more accepting of Santa so I slowly put him on his lap and ran out of the picture. Grady actually smiled but the lady taking the shot was a little slow on the draw. At least we have three options with no screaming kids. Can't complain.
