Christmas Week and Weekend

We started our Christmas celebration early since we knew we would be down in Tucson for the holiday. This year, we were all about starting some traditions to carry on with the kids every year. Christmas Eve Day we made a big breakfast, did some house projects, went to a Teppanyaki restaurant for dinner and opened presents. Grady still didn't know what to think about the presents but he loved opening them once he saw a truck in his first one. I love how simple the holiday is for the kids at this age. We opened Gretta's present for her. She will probably be doing it herself from now on.

The day of Christmas was a little hectic being down in Tucson but a lot of fun to see the family. Unfortunately, we didn't get as many pictures as we would have liked. We also realized we will probably be spending holidays at home from now on because it is the best place for the kids and as a result, for us too.

Over the weekend Tim finished a huge house project that was 2 weeks in the making. He finished painting the entire interior of our house and he did a wonderful job. The walls went from a bright white to "Gobe Desert", which is a light beige color. I wish I had more before and after pics. Tim and I also managed to squeeze in a couple of dates and went to see The Blind Side. A must see movie!
