Hiking Camelback

Today we decided to try out Grady's new hiking backpack and hike up Camelback Mountain. Most people have probably heard of this famous little mountain even if they are not from Arizona. For those that are from here, they definitely know about it. The hike is 1.2 miles each way but pretty much straight up. The highlight of the hike for us was seeing one of our favorite country music artists on the trail. Tim called out to Dierks Bentley and sure enough it was him and he was with his brother. The impressive part was we saw him the first time when we were on our way up and he was on his way down. When we got down, he was starting back up. I would have asked for a picture but I didn't want to interrupt his hike. Most people don't know this, but Tim proposed to me using one of his songs we saw him perform at the Puyallup Fair back in 2004. So it was pretty special to see him up close and personal. The view from the mountain was beautiful.
